A little about me
I am interested in working with people who are going through transitions or feeling stuck — whether due to depression, anxiety, life changes, grief, or stress. I am committed to helping clients develop positive coping skills and a healthy perspective on life so they may live life to the fullest.
I enjoy working with clients to create a hopeful perspective that can come from understanding their own values, and I often rely on acceptance and commitment therapy to facilitate the process. I also draw from mindfulness techniques and meditation.
I am also interested in applying my experience working with people on their faith journeys into my clinical practice. I have led and spoken at various retreats, workshops, and conferences concerning spirituality and faith.
I see clients in Carol Stream at The Center, as well as in Western Springs at St. John of the Cross Parish.
